VIDEO - Team Nia dances for Habitat for Humanity

On Tuesday, August 26th, in support of Habitat for Humanity Halton, eleven members of “Team Nia” came together to help build three homes in Georgetown. It was a very moving experience as we worked along side some of the beautiful people who will reep the benefits of our hard day of labour.

At 7: 55 am we were all decked out in our safety gear and enjoyed warming up with some Nia dancing. We smiled, we laughed, but most of all we spiritually grew exponentially as we spread our loving energy throughout the day.


On our crew we had four local Nia teachers. We will band together once again on Saturday, September 27th to do it all over again. Thanks to everyone who financially, emotionally and spiritually supported us on this venture. So far we have raised over $5000.00 for Habitat for Humanity
