In Your Nia Practice: Nia moves inspired by the Work of Moshe Feldenkrais focus on connecting you to body sensation, in motion and in stillness. A Nia Feldenkrais based experience focuses on teaching you to move slowly and quickly while noticing sensations and feelings from the whole body. Awareness of your movement is how you improve function and pleasure. You learn to place your conscious and sensory attention on developing awareness of your breathing, speaking, circulation, sight, smell, hearing, touch, taste and to your orientation in space, relationship to time and rhythm, as well as to the physical feelings associated with emotion.
