Emailing Oprah and Participaction!!!
Posted: Jan 9, 10:28 AMThank you to everyone who participated in the Oprah Postcard Campaign. We appreciate you having your students write their Nia stories on the postcards for mailing.
I has recently come to our attention that, unfortunately, Oprah’s people have sent the postcards back to Nia HQ. Apparently they are not happy with unsolicited mail.
Despite this minor setback, we believe that we have still managed to raise the profile of Nia with our efforts. As we heard earlier from HQ and through one of our Niac members, we still have the opportunity to tell our stories!
Please take the time to do this, and encourage your students to do so as well! Just
Just click HERE to create an account, and then post your stories! They are also asking for pictures (and sometimes won’t let you submit if you don’t have the pictures the right size), so please feel free to copy and paste any image from my site to attach to your message if you like.
Also, you can double your efforts by cutting and pasting your story to Oprah and telling it to Participation.
