“I highly recommend the Yoga for Runners class. I started running fairly late in life, at 47. I love running and I love racing. When I turned 49, as a challenge, I ran ten 1/2 marathons in 10 weeks. I was 50 when I ran my first marathon. In the following 18 months, I ran 5 marathons, including Boston and New York City (2008). For the last two years I constantly felt “off balance” (recurring sore right knee, recurring sore left Achilles). I started the Yoga for Runners class in September 2009. The Yoga for Runners class has improved my flexibility and range of motion (Achilles tendon) and has started to strengthen and restore my muscle balance. Yoga is much more of a workout than I ever anticipated. After the first class, I felt I had run a 1/2 marathon. I think that the class would be good for non-runners too and I look forward to the 2010 season, for both running and yoga.”

“Nia is AWESOME!!!!! Celebration, liberation, exploration of your mind , body and spirit.Unplugging your stress , plugging into your own rhythm” Ankur Manchanda, Brampton, Ontario
Dear friends,
I have a happy vision and fun idea to propose! I am joyfully envisioning 13 plus students packing the house weekly in our Wednesday night Nia class at 7pm and Saturday morning class at 10am, and I’ve cooked up quite a fun way to get us there.
The fun part: once we have 13 or more dancing bodies in class for 4 weeks in a row, I’m treating everybody in that lucky 4th class to a chocolate martini (or a suitably yummy virgin version) on the Saturday evening following the class (provided I’m available – or another date will be set). So, come dance your Wednesday nights and Saturday mornings away in pursuit of pleasure with this worthy goal in mind. Put on your P.R. hat, loudly sing the praises of Nia, coax your friends to join our classes, and letʼs all dance our way to a chocolate martini celebration! I would sure appreciate your help, and very much look forward to sipping martinis with all of you. ;)
Cheers!
