I am a Certified Yoga Instructor and have been practicing Yoga and Meditation for 7 years. I have explored numerous meditation techniques in India, Japan, China and Canada. I am forever grateful to all of my amazing teachers in Nasik, India where I received my Yoga Teacher Training in 2008. My training focused on Traditional Hatha and Eight Limbed Ashtanga Yoga. Since returning home I have completed Pre-natal training at the Yoga Sanctuary in Toronto. My personal practice is very important to me. I use Yoga as a process of continual learning and growth; an ever present philosophy of total personality development.
Yoga is never complete, it is always changing, I am forever transforming. My own journey with Yoga has shown me that it has a profound impact on every aspect of our being and that the practice of Asana (postures) helps us blossom into our most beautiful and complete selves on and off the mat. The inward focus of Yoga allows us to connect with and recognize the inner light that we ALL carry within. I hope to touch the hearts of my students and introduce them to a world of physical, emotional and spiritual balance. May all beings be happy!
